EDEMA DA FAME denutrizione
EDEMA DA FAME, forma grave di denutrizione, conseguente alla carenza molto prolungata di alimenti, ton un vero e proprio squilibrio nutritivo. I sintomi sono quelli tipici della denutrizione: mancanza di forze, perdita di peso, anemia, alterazioni cutanee, ipoglicemia ( glicemia inferiore a 0,8 per mille), riduzione del metabolismo basale, aumento della velocità di sedimentazione dei globuli rossi, povertà di acido cloridrico nel succo gastrico, urinazione abbondante, diminuzione della frequenza dei battiti cardiaci, abbassamento della pressione arteriosa e, in più, abbassamento della temperatura corporea, diarrea, edemi prevalentemente localizzati agli arti.
